Lee's Light Horse (9th Virginia) -- The goal of our Reenactment Unit  is Education!  We are a family oriented Confederate unit based in the New York tri-state area. Competitive Pistol Shooting -- 2700 Matches.   Sponsored by the Peconic River Sportsmans Club.  Matches are open to non-members, by one must be an NRA member to compete.  For infomation contact Match Director William Berger at 631-289-0387.  JULY 4.5 & 6, 2003 $750 ADDED PURSE 2700 PISTOL MATCH.  First, second and third place in the Grand Aggregate will be paid. There will be 5 classes: HM, ,E, SS and MKS.  All shooters will receive a PRSC T-shirt. A catered lunch will be served each day between the C.F. and .45 match.

Second Annual Long Island Sportsman Show.  The Second Annual Long Island Sportsman Show will take place at the Suffolk County Community College Sports & Exhibition Center located on Crooked Hill Road in Brentwood, NY from March 28th - 30th, 2003. Show schedule: Friday March 28th 4 - 10PM, Saturday March 29th 10AM - 10PM, Sunday March 30th 10AM - 6PM.  Ticket Prices: $lO/AduIt, $8/Senior, Free/Children under 12 and FREE. Boat Show.  The New York Marine Trades Association (NYMTA) i-a putting the finishing touches on the 46th Annual Long Island Boat Show at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The Long Island Boat Show will be held from February 7-9 followed by February 14-17, 2003. The: hours for this year's show are 4:00-9:30pm on Fridays, 12:00-9:30pm on Saturdays, and 12:00-7:00pm Sundays and ;'resident's Day.

As always with over 200 exhibitors attending, this year’s show will have the newest in marine products and accessories on display at great low prices. In addition to all the great deals that are to be had, this year's show will generate additional excitement for those who attend with a free boat give away. Everyone who attends the show and is over 18 years of age may qualify by simply filling out a raffle form at the show. In addition to giving away a boat there will also be other prizes such as subscriptions to marine publications and marine accessories.  The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum is located on Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale, Long Island.
